When global dairy technology leader GEA Group set out to showcase its flagship GEA DairyMilk R9650 at the largest dairy trade show in the world, it needed more than brochures and screens. It needed something immersive. Something precise. Something that would stop people in their tracks.

Following GEA’s success in winning Best Stand at the 2025 show, the brief was clear: elevate the presentation even further. The solution was a highly detailed scale model of the R9650 robotic milking system, designed, manufactured, transported, and installed entirely by CAD Studio.

Our team began by modelling the entire robotic dairy system in 3D, not just the outer shell, but the operational layout, subfloor components, circulation areas, and cow positioning. This ensured the scale model accurately reflected the real-world functionality of the R9650 system.
Once the digital model was signed off, we moved into fabrication.
